I am unequivocally obsessed with Chloe boots!!! Two seasons ago I didn't just need one pair I needed two. I still wear them all the time!!! Yes, ladies I have vowed to only write about the covetable items you can actually wear now, but I am so convinced that the boots I am about to discuss will be gone in a snap that I have decided to break my own rules and talk Fall 2009 if only for a minute.
Chloe has done it again...I am beyond impassioned by their trio of sexy, over-the-knee boots!!! I fell in love with thigh high boots a few years ago and have never looked back. There is something so overtly sexy and powerful about a boot that contains your entire leg (most of it anyway). Up until now however, I have only bought over-the-knee styles that have a flat heel as most higher heeled versions have seemed a little stripper pole worthy and wee bit too aggressive for me.
Chloe has now changed that perception completely. Their new Terry Leather Over The Knee Boots are beyond chic, tasteful and sophisticated. These are the black boots of the fall season...mark my words!!! I also love their fraternal twin, the Crosta Suede Over The Knee Boots as the rich caramel color adds a slightly boho feel...we all know I ADORE my boho. If the combo high heel (they are 4 1/2") and thigh high height is still too much for you, well they are also giving them to us in a perfect flat and oh-so modern riding boot style. They are called the Crosta Suede Over The Knee Flat Boots and they come in a stylish olive tone...I am a huge fan of off color boots...experiment with charcoal grays and olives as they will become your new black.
The good news is that the recession has started to push down prices so at $1,298, I think they are a solid investment. Yes, I know the over $1,000 price tag on boots is beyond daunting, but if you care for them well, then they can take you from season to season...a great pair of boots should never go out of style and I promise these won't!!! They are just so freakin fab!!!!
Don't wait to buy these ladies...you will miss out. That said, if you are still busy investing in your summer wardrobe, I say why bother? With this weather we may as well just jump right into fall!!!!
